Description of the Institution

The Hospitality Center of Excellence (HCE) located in Prampram is a unique learning center situated away from Accra's City hustle and bustle but a mere 25 minutes drive away from Accra The location of HCE in Prampram gives it an additional value as Prampram is fast becoming an institutional town for learning and capacity building.

Prampram is also only about 10 minutes away from Tema.It is a coastal city situated 25 km east of Accra, the nation’s capital and it became a municipal assembly in December, 1990. The municipality shares common boundaries with the Accra Metropolis on the west, the Ga District Assembly on the North West and the Dangme West District on the northern and eastern borders.

Proximity to Demand Generators

HCE location is surrounded by and in close proximity with the prestigious Central University, The Ghanaman Center of Excellence (A FIFA rated Football Academy), The proposed Zenith University, Ghana, a proposed Olympic Stadium and Ghana’s new International Airport; with access roads providing good links to these places. The first Ghana Olympic Stadium has been approved and will be developed right behind the Ghanaman center and a new International Airport has also been approved (about 800m from site) and will soon be developed. These landmarks in the vicinity will boost development and activity level of the area which is of great advantage to this project. The Pram-Pram beach, a beautiful tourist attraction is also about 5mins drive from the site. Due to these landmarks alone, activities like convocations, Olympics, and sightseeing will bring people in and provide huge demand generators for the project.
